Dr. Sierra Desorme is a dedicated pediatric occupational therapist with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, a Master’s in Exceptional Student Education, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. Since 2011, she has devoted her career to working alongside children who are neurodivergent, drawing on her extensive experience in behavior therapy, early intervention, special education, and after school programming.

Over the past two and a half years, Sierra has specialized in pediatric occupational therapy across outpatient and school settings. Her therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based interventions such as sensory integration, fine motor skill development, handwriting support, self-regulation strategies, and activities of daily living. Sierra’s practice is grounded in the belief that every child can achieve their full potential when given the right tools and opportunities.

A short-term school contract inspired Sierra to relocate to the DC metropolitan area—a move that soon became permanent. Driven by her passion for helping children thrive, Sierra remains committed to empowering families and transforming young lives, one child at a time.
